First of all I want to thank all of you for standing by for the last year while this organization struggled with an insurance issue that not only effected our club but all off road ATV/UTV clubs across this state. In our struggle over the last year to obtain insurance our board of directors were unable to get an answer from anyone, even at the state level as to what changed and why all clubs lost their insurance coverage.
On the date of our May 2025 meeting we still had not obtained the required insurance to cover our organization & landowners and it was the intension of closing things down. BUT just before the meeting the club President received a lead to an insurance agent that said they could get this organization the coverage that it needed to continue with it's NON PROFIT OPERATION.
Well, long story short we are finally here at this point, WE HAVE BEEN INSURED. Our NEW POLICY has been reviewed by the club's attorney and several others from various landowners and their teams that allow us to use their property for this trail system.
Currently, the southern trail system is open while the northern system is still being worked on as we lost the rights to use a couple of large land owners over the last year and this has broken the connection to our trails north of the firehouse. Talks are ongoing with these landowners in hopes that we will be able to resolve this issue in the short term as well as working on alternate routes to get to the northern trails. A HUGE THANK YOU to all the landowners who continue to support and allow this organization the right to use the trails on their property.
